Life UP

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Life UP ("the App", "we", "us") is a personal discipline and self-improvement app. We designed it to be private by default: no ads and no third‑party tracking. Your data works offline on your device and is securely backed up to your own account so it can sync across your devices. This policy explains what data the App uses and how.

Summary: We do not sell your data. We do not run third‑party advertising or tracking. Your profile and progress are stored on your device and in your private account so they can sync between your devices. Apple Health data never leaves your phone.

1. Data stored on your device

The following is stored locally on your device (in app storage and the iOS Keychain):

Each account on a device has its own isolated storage space; data from one account is not shared with another.

2. Cloud sync and account data

To keep your progress safe and let it sync across your devices, your profile and progress (the data listed in Section 1, except your local session tokens) are stored in your own account on our backend provider, Supabase. Access is restricted per user using Row Level Security, so only you — signed in to your account — can read or change your data.

You can delete your data at any time (see Section 9).

3. Sign in

You can sign in with Sign in with Apple or with an email and password. With Sign in with Apple, Apple provides us a unique identifier (and an email only if you choose to share it). With email sign‑in, your email and password are used to create and access your account through our backend (Supabase); passwords are handled by the authentication service and we never store them in plain text. We use this information solely to identify your account and keep your data associated with you.

4. Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you grant permission, the App may read activity data such as steps, sleep and workouts from Apple Health to update your habits and score. This data is processed on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. We do not write data to Apple Health unless you explicitly enable it. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Premium access is offered through Apple's In‑App Purchase. Payments and renewals are processed by Apple under the App Store terms. We do not receive or store your payment details. We only see whether your subscription entitlement is active, as provided by Apple's StoreKit on your device.

6. Notifications

With your permission, the App schedules local reminders (morning/evening check‑ins, habit reminders, planner items and motivational nudges). These are generated and delivered on your device. You can disable them in the App or in iOS Settings.

7. Analytics and tracking

The App does not use third‑party advertising SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites. If we introduce privacy‑respecting product analytics in the future, this policy and the App's privacy details on the App Store will be updated accordingly.

8. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Your control over your data

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
